As this website is about Lancashire, it is unsurprising that we are interested in the county’s various locations and history. One of the places we have been looking at recently is the Preston suburb of Fulwood. We discovered more than one place called Fulwood in the UK. The most famous Fulwood is a suburban area of Preston, Lancashire, England. Fulwood is around three miles to the north of the city centre and is famous for its large Victorian houses, leafy green spaces, and excellent schools. The area has a rich history and is home to several notable and historic landmarks, including Fulwood Barracks, St. Martin’s Church, and the Harris Museum Art Gallery & Library.

It is around three miles southwest of the city centre and is famous for its large houses, tree-lined streets, and proximity to the Peak District National Park.
